The nearby Black History Museum and Cultural Center of Virginia features well-appointed exhibits dedicated to African-American history in the state, while just next door, the Maggie L. Walker National Historic Site pays homage to the first-ever female African-American bank president. 

Nestled between Church Hill’s residential streets and the winding James River, Libby Hill Park is an epicenter of activity, often hosting outdoor events like yoga and photography sessions.
